Glow in the Dark - Denver 4/27/08 <p>After hearing incredible reviews from the first few shows of Kanye West’s Glow in the Dark tour I was finally able to take it in for myself last night. Enjoyable Speed Dating in Orlando articles and products to help you on your way
to success.
Make Your Speed Dating In Orlando Event Enjoyable By Jennifer King The trick to fruitful Orlando speed dating is not to take it too seriously. It is intended to be a bit of entertainment, an delightful way to use up an evening. Don’t mis-understand though, love can and will arise at these events, all the same, this is normally a result of the first meeting and then the subsequent following dates. This is the primary reason why Orlando speed dating has become so popular. With 15 to 20 dates in one night your chances of a subsequent date with another single from Orlando are much higher than just having a night out to a Orlando bar or nightclub.
If you frequently enjoy Orlando speed dating events then you can try to attend a alternative speed dating event at least once a month. Try to attend events that are situated in your local area, however different to the last one you attended. Your motive for this is because, you could end up seeing the same Orlando singles at a few of these events, and your objective is to date with as many Orlando people as possible. Some singles will keep with the same Orlando event holder where if you change the event holders you go with the venue will change also. Because of the price of attending a Orlando dating event isn’t any different to a regular evening out you will get a few Orlando people attending the same events consistently
Try and not have too many expectations of meeting that special someone at a speed dating event. Instead, try to open minded, and relax, and go with the flow. For you, the element of Orlando speed dating ought to be interacting with other Orlando people. Experts say that you can make up your mind about someone within half a minute of interacting with them for the first time, and this has been the case for many couples. In essence a 5 minute date with another single is fantastic, if you don’t like the other single it is not a long to endure their company until you‘re enjoying your next date. Alternatively, if you find them attractive, you can arrange to talk them for longer next time.
Presently, speed dating is a much more openly excepted
form of Orlando dating and entertainment. You can attend speed dating events that cater to all types of people and niches, as an example there are events that are centered around certain religions, sexualities and age groups. Attending the correct speed dating party that is well suited to you will increase your probability of interacting with a compatible single. Also with a speed dating event that panders to one religion or lifestyle you know your going to have an increased chance of being attracted to someone if they are from a certain niche of people that you’re attracted to.
If you haven’t been to a Orlando speed dating party before, you are severly missing out on a night of fun. Its a great opportunity to meet people and mingle with similar thinking people. My only advice would be to revise a few questions that you will ask. This is an excellent chance for you to stand out for the simple reason most speed daters use the same ordinary questions; what pets do you have, what do you like, dislike, what‘s your job? Try thinking outside the box, after plenty of dates you’ll get noticed more if you approach it differently.

I first met Simone (then, Lisa Celeste Stroud) when she was four years old: a mere teenager, I was at London's Heathrow Airport to meet her mother and father on their first visit to Britain. Mother was the woman for whom I had formed the first UK appreciation society, father her husband and manager. Many years later, I attended a show at the House Of Blues by a Chicago-based group known as Liquid Soul, fronted by Lisa, now professionally known as Simone. We briefly talked and I reminded her of my connection with her Mom. Fast forward a few more years and

Her commercial debut, <strong><em>Purpose, </em></strong>has no purpose, except perhaps to frustrate long-time fans of her music. I know, I know, that everybody with indie cred is suppose to love this R&B chick (and I use this phrase with all its implicit dismissiveness) because neo-soul's founding father, Kedar Massenberg, has coronated Algebra his next neo-soul Queen. But Kedar's Algebra doesn't have the goods of his Erykah, his D'Angelo, or even his rightfully long-forgotten Grenique. If Algebra does, she's hidden the loot in some off-shore account somewhere.

<img src="/files/images/artists/ltd.jpg" hspace="5" width="300" height="298" align="left" />James Davis (JD), the keyboardist and music director of long time soul music favorites LTD (Love Togetherness and Devotion) died on May 1, 2008. During its heyday, LTD was one of the most popular R&B acts in the world, with hits like "Back In Love Again" and "Love Ballad." The group reunited a couple years ago and has been readying the release of its first new album in two decades. Davis was part of the reunited group. He will be missed.

Seeming to spring into the consciousness of soulheads around the US a couple years ago, Nashville singer Darnell Levine turned quite a few heads with his debut CD, <strong><em>We Gon' Use What We Got.</em></strong> Bearing obvious comparisons to Bobby McFerrin, Levine combined solid songwriting with a multi-layered, sometimes ostentatious, vocal performance that gave him a mild underground hit disc -- enough, at least, to make his name recognizable as he played gigs East of the Mississippi.

There are a handful of R&B and soul voices that still maintain a loyal following long after the artist's season of steady hit making has passed. Artists such as Peabo Bryson and Patti LaBelle have had enduring careers by venturing out into different musical terrain to capture new audiences while still staying true to their base. With the release of her debut gospel album, <strong><em>Love Forever Shines</em></strong>, singer Regina Belle shows us why she is among this elite rank of soul survivors.

In the early 80s, former Miracles lead singer Billy Griffin was hitting his stride, teaming with John Barnes for a pair of excellent soulful dance albums (<em><strong>Be With Me</strong> </em>and <em><strong>Respect</strong></em>) that largely anticipated what Barnes would do a couple years later working with Michael Jackson on <strong><em>Thriller</em></strong>. The UK flocked to Griffin's brilliant single, "Hold Me Tighter In the Rain," but the two discs were criminally ignored by US radio, save some minor attention paid to the 1982 single "Serious."
